Starter includes 1 instructor, up to 10 students, 5 private challenges and 2 private contests. Classroom includes 2 instructors and up to 60 students. School includes 6 instructors, up to 200 students, hackathons and LMS integration. Classroom and School let you create an unlimited number of private and public challenges, contests and learning paths.

You can create custom challenges or contests by selecting relevant problem sets or coding tasks, or by writing your own. Set the skills you want to practise, then invite your students to participate. We provide tools to help you design, launch and evaluate challenges effectively.

Yes, you can invite specific students or whole groups to participate in your challenges. You can also make challenges public, allowing anyone interested to join on their own.

Every school and team account starts on the free Starter plan, and it never expires, so you can take the time you need to decide and budget. You can add up to 10 students, create 5 private challenges and 2 private contests, use assignments with autograding and per-group AI controls, and view reports on screen. Students use free DojoCode accounts with the standard AI limits. Upgrade to Classroom or School whenever you need more students, more instructors, Premium for your students, live collaboration or PDF/CSV exports.

Every student can preview any project live while they work on it. On Starter, students can publish static websites to a public link, such as plain HTML, React, Vue or Angular projects. On Classroom and School, students can also publish server apps, such as Next.js or NestJS, and Python projects.

New students can no longer join your groups once the limit is reached. The student sees a clear message, and you receive a notification and an email so you can upgrade to the next plan. Students who are already in your groups are not affected.

Yes. Student accounts, solutions and projects stay with the student. Premium access is included while they belong to a group of a subscribed instructor; afterwards the account simply continues as a free DojoCode account.

Yes, on the School plan, through LTI Advantage (LTI 1.3), which works with Moodle, Canvas and other LTI 1.3 compliant learning management systems. Teachers and students launch DojoCode from inside the course, and grades can be sent back to the LMS gradebook.

Plans are billed monthly or yearly by card through Stripe, and the yearly plan saves you about 20%. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. Schools that need to pay by invoice or purchase order can contact us.
